The Miami Beach home that once belonged to ‘Honeymooner’ star Jackie Gleason is on the auction block, set to be sold to the highest bidder Feb. 19 through the Auction Company of America.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Gleason moved to Florida from New York when the show changed locations in the mid-1960s. He bought a 9,251-square-foot home, at 19010 Merion Point Road, that sits on a 0.82 acre lot and has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a guest house, a pool and patio and a two-car garage. The property is located on the edge of the Country Club of Miami golf course.
The owner is also auctioning off items owned by Jackie Gleason that he left in the home, including furniture and gym equipment. [SF Chronicle]
