Designing of watches, mansions and even yachts are now bending towards the futuristic inclinations. The older classical designs are becoming more niches, and modern designs seem to be taking up the lionâs share in customer preference. Towing the line is New York based Impossible Productions LLC, which has introduced its latest concept yacht, the IPI 12. The inspiration for this vessel of the future, are the modern supercars which bear resemblance to the one we saw just in sci-fi movies.
The main factor of the IPI 12 yacht which comes out fairly apparent in the hull design, is aerodynamics. The sleek yet sharp lines of the hull make it ideal for high speed cruising, while gaining maximum output from the engine at optimal traveling speed. However, such a perspective in design has not cut down on what it could offer the passengers, in terms of comfort. The list of amenities arenât out yet, but it will have a spacious open relaxing deck at the upper deck, along with all the standard ones like dining area, recreation area, and the luxury suites where one could relax in. The accommodation has options on offer which like the Couple (one double cabin), Family (one double cabin accompanied by a twin cabin), and also the Charter (3 twin cabins), and itâs up to the buyers choice regarding this configuration. The rear end of the lower deck offers amenities which can be used for snorkeling and water based adventure sports. Though its extends the tail end, but matches wonderfully with the rest of the hull in keeping it compact.

The other additions seen here, is the use of eco-friendly technology to meet the yachts energy needs. The sprawling solar panels on the upper deck, which also houses the relaxing area, which provide much of the electricity and other energy needed in the vessel. The engine is also a hybrid version, which will power the yacht 25 to 28 knots of speed at maximum levels. Now depending on what more can be done, the company is looking to work further on the luxury boat to offer its customers, the optimum experience they seek from the now populated world of luxury yachts.
Those interested in such futuristic options, do take a glance at the Odyssey Veloce superyacht, which apparently is a more a la grande concept to consider. The final choice is of course, subjective.
