Canadians are now the largest home purchasing group of any foreign demographic in the U.S., according to a survey by Credit Sesame. Florida remains the most popular destination for foreign buyers, most of whom buy detached single-family homes for less than $100,000 each. Texas, California and Arizona are the other most poplar targets for snowbirds, with Canadians leading the way in Arizona as well. Asians are the second-most-frequent foreign buyers in the U.S., according to the report, followed by Europeans.
